We’re receiving numerous requests from our readers for a complete manual on submitting contests works to the governance interface. So, we have decided to compile all available information and our experience and share with you.
That was hell of a ride during the past month – stress-test for hardware and people. 300+ teams have been showing their skills in DePool smart-contracts operating and logistics. Main idea of this contests for validators was to test the work of core principles of DePool before the wide launch in the mainnet. That was the test for hardware as the devnet experienced tremendous work-loads to see what limitations it has if there are any.
Free TON community has initiated a series of contests on visual communications with several categories: stickers, animated stickers, mems, GIFs and social media branding. The number of high quality works, submitted by community members, has truly shocked everyone – 65 sticker packs, 28 packs of animated stickers, 66 sets of mems (some are very funny!), 49 sets of GIFs and 37 templates for social media. Wow, that is a blast!
As we wrote previously, Magister Ludi is finished. During the game validators competed for their ratings during each cycle of validation which lasts for 18 hours. After 4 weeks of the game the list of best teams has been compiled – these validators will join mainnet to perform their essential duties.
Yet another update happened to governance – the new smart contracts have been delivered to the jury, thus, they can start voting for all the works submitted in 5 different branding contests. Stickers, animated stickers, GIFs, mems and social media design – huge load of works in each category, we wish the jury patience and good taste to pick the best.
Validator contest under a lovely name ‘Magister Ludi’ is over and the time to send prizes to the winners has come. Speaking of prizes – one of the prize will be a subsidy with return period of 1-2 years, and the second part will be vested during 12 months.
